Saturday Night PRCA Rodeo - Golden Circle of Champions Night - 7PM

Presented by Castle Rock Autoplex

The Golden Circle of Champions is a national program that partners with rodeos to recognize children currently battling pediatric cancer. Known as “Champions,” these young fighters are honored during rodeo performances, where they spend time with contestants, interact with rodeo royalty, and take part in the rodeo experience. The program creates meaningful moments of encouragement for children and their families while also helping raise awareness for the fight against childhood cancer.

Since 2018, the program has also been part of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, the championship event of professional rodeo. This year, the Elizabeth Stampede will join the growing number of rodeos hosting a Golden Circle of Champions performance for the first time.

The need for that awareness is significant. According to the American Cancer Society, childhood cancer is the leading cause of death by disease among children and adolescents in the United States. Each year, about 15,000 families hear the devastating words, “Your child has cancer.” Despite its impact on children and families across the country, pediatric cancer research remains significantly underfunded.
