From the Board of Directors and Committee Chairs of the Elizabeth Stampede, we would like to sincerely thank all the contestants, volunteers, spectators, vendors and sponsors for the 2011 Stampede. | The Elizabeth Stampede was proud to welcome 9News meteorologist and TV personality Kathy Sabine, who was the Grand Marshall for the 2011 Elizabeth Stampede! She broadcast her Friday, June 3, weather forecast from Casey Jones Park in Elizabeth at 4, 5, and 6 pm and also rode in the Grand Entry for the PBR performance. On Saturday, June 4, she participated in the Elizabeth Stampede Parade as well. We were very excited that Kathy participated in the Elizabeth Stampede for 2011 and we wish to extend to her a big Elizabeth Thank You!

 | The Elbert County Commissioners have declared June 1 through June 5 ‘Elizabeth Stampede Rodeo Days’ for Elbert County. During that time period, the official dress for County employees is Western attire. The Stampede would like to thank the Commissioners for their recognition of our event and its contribution to our community. |
