Miss Makenzie Molitor - 2010 Rodeo Queen

Hey Guys and Gals! Exactly a year ago I sat in the stands of the Elizabeth Stampede Rodeo as a spectator. I saw the girls running the flags around the arena and I told my mother I wanted to do that! She responded by saying "Okay, research it and find out how to do it." I followed up and discovered it was the Royalty who had the privilege of running the sponsor flags. A year later, I am proud to represent the Elizabeth Stampede RodeoQueen Makenzi Molitor as the 2010 Queen.

I am a junior at Colorado State University majoring in Psychology with a minor in Criminology. After college I plan to attend law school in Wyoming. You will see me riding my Quarter Horse mare Chablis this year at the rodeos, but we also enjoy trail riding, barrel racing, and the annual Halloween for Horses costume competition in Parker. Another passion of mine is playing the violin and have been fortunate enough to play in Arapahoe Philharmonic Symphony for several years.

Whether you are a devoted rodeo fan or a new spectator, I know you will enjoy your experience at the Elizabeth Stampede. This rodeo is structured by family like relationships between the volunteers that make the Elizabeth Stampede what it is today. I am so excited to be a part of this progressive journey of fans and enthusiasts alike who put their dedication to the sport of rodeo first. A lot happens behind the scenes of the Stampede and I am truly exposed to the vast commitment and passion that the volunteers administer.

This year, I hope to expose the heart of Elizabeth Stampede to everyone, as well as represent our rodeo when visiting others across the state. A year ago I would have never imagined I'd be where I am today, immersed in a new lifestyle with a crown. Anything can happen when you truly put your whole heart and soul into your dreams.

Please stop by our "On the Road with Royalty" link to follow us as we journey through this year. If you are a young woman and you feel the desire to be Royalty, please do not hesitate to contact me or the Royalty Committee.

May your passions lead you and your confidence keep you in the right direction.

See you at the Elizabeth Stampede Rodeo, June 4th, 5th, and 6th of 2010!

Makenzie Molitor

Miss Jadi Rogers - 2010 Royalty Attendant

Hello everyone!

My name is Jadi Jo Rogers and I am pleased to be the 2010 Elizabeth Stampede Attendant. Our rodeo hasAttendent Jadi Rogers been voted 8 times, the PRCA mountain states circuit small rodeo of the year and I am so proud to be apart of this fantastic rodeo. Everyyear I'm exited for the Elizabeth Stampede to arrive, and in the past I have been a Stampede volunteer and one of the many fans watching in the crowd. Now I am fortunate to be a part of the incredible team that actually makes the rodeo come together every year. I am also very happy to have Makenzie Molitor, the 2010 Elizabeth Stampede Queen, as my partner. We have already had so much fun, and our year has only begun. I am so excited to continue this year with her, attending rodeos, parades, and events across our wonderful state of Colorado, representing the Elizabeth Stampede.

I'm currently a sophomore at Elizabeth High School. I am on the Elizabeth High School Volleyball team. Along with school, I am a 7 year member of the Sun Country 4- H , where I show horses, swine, and several non-livestock projects including creative clothing, ceramics, photography, child development, cake decorating, foods, shooting sports, vet science and so much more. I have also participated in their royalty competition. In 2006 I was Elbert County Fair Princess. I enjoy barrel racing - both watching and participating and love to go to rodeos - but my favorite by far is the Elizabeth Stampede!

My step-dad and mom, Scott and Traci Freedle, have been my support, cheerleaders, hair dressers, gophers, and more, as I chase my dreams. They are incredible! I also have 3 siblings, my brother Ryan is 18, my step-sister Megan is 15, and my step-brother Jake is 21. I am exited to work with our coordinator, Angelique, and co-coordinator Dana - both have already been a huge support, helping us get sponsors, clothes, pictures, and more. My horse, Pepper, is my other partner during my rodeo experiences, and will be attending all of the rodeos and parades with me - I can't wait for you all to meet her!

Thank you for this exciting opportunity to represent the best small town rodeo in Colorado! I hope to see everyone at the Elizabeth stampede June 4, 5, 6 in 2010.

See you then!

Jadi Rogers
