TOUGH ENOUGH TO WEAR PINK

It's Another Incredible Year of Helping Colorado Victims of Breast Cancer!

Are You Tough Enough To Wear Pink? We are! And we make a huge difference to Colorado families-with your help, and contributions to our local cause. We are so excited to enter into our fourth year of participation in the Tough Enough To Wear Pink program. Every year our goal is to work hard to put together a bigger and better fund raiser than ever before. Once again, this year the proceeds of our event will go to Renee's Friends Fund and Lancaster's Barrel Race For The Cure. These are two local Breast Cancer Charities who use the money to help Colorado families deal with this devastating disease.

The Elizabeth Stampede has participated  in the Tough Enough To Wear Pink Breast Cancer fund raising campaign since 2006. In 2007 we raised over $17,000.00  for two local charities, Lancaster's Barrel Race For The Cure and Rene's Friends Fund.  These tax deductible donations stay in Colorado helping victims and their families deal with the devastation caused by this terrible disease.

On Saturday evening at the rodeo performance, everyone is encouraged to wear pink! The arena turns into a sea of pink with all the people who wear all colors of pink! Come and be a part of a growing tradition here in Elizabeth. Bring someone who has survived breast cancer, to be honored and to enjoy a night of support for the cause.

In addition to the sale of TETWP merchandise throughout the weekend, we also have jewelry, pink roses and our one of a kind silent auction. So many cool, exciting items are being donated again this year, and the silent auction will be open every day of the rodeo weekend. Our goal has always been to bring together a collection of unique and unexpected items, and this year, we have met that goal!

We will have an assortment of art, tack, gift certificates from fun stores to explore, restaurants, concert tickets and many more unexpected items.

Look around town and thank local businesses who have our TETWP sponsor logo in their windows. Take a minute to thank them so they know how important they are to helping our local cause.
